Zoning Board approves driveway widening and residential deck

Zoning Board of Adjustment · Meeting of February 12, 2026

NJ MADISON — Madison Zoning Board approves variances for driveway widening and residential deck. The board approved driveway-widening relief for Mr. and Mrs. Critides at 62 Ridgedale Avenue, voting 6-0-1, contingent on consultation with the Borough Engineer regarding stormwater management and installation of Belgian block curbing.

Mr. Stephen Sangillo's rear deck variance at 47 Park Avenue was unanimously approved after the applicant agreed to shift the structure approximately 18 inches to 2 feet toward the house center. Both variances include conditions regarding stormwater management and lighting requirements, to be documented in formal resolutions.
