NJ MADISON — Planning Board endorsed Drew University redevelopment in 7-0 vote. The Madison Planning Board voted unanimously on August 4 to recommend designation of two noncontiguous Drew University campus portions as areas in need of non-condemnation redevelopment. Board Planner Susan Favate documented deteriorated buildings and site conditions on proposed Lots B and C and cited smart-growth principles supporting the recommendation.
Board member Tricia Coyle did not participate; if the Borough Council accepts the recommendation, redevelopment plans would subsequently be prepared.
