Planning Board Approves Subdivision of North Street Property Into Two Lots
Planning Board · Meeting of January 13, 2026
NJ MADISON — Madison Planning Board unanimously approves minor subdivision on North Street. The board voted nine to zero to allow North Street Development LLC to split a 100-foot lot at 39 North Street into two conforming 50-foot single-family residential lots in the R-4 zone. The property, represented by Gregory Skiff of A.Y.
Strauss LLC, required no variances and complies with all bulk requirements. Board Engineer Dennis Harrington required stormwater management improvements, tree removal compliance with borough ordinances, and Soil Conservation District approval. The application, supported by testimony from professional engineer and land surveyor Andrew Clarke, was consistent with the historic 50-foot lot pattern of the neighborhood.
