Planning Board approves Giralda Farms affordable housing revision

NJ MADISON — Madison Planning Board unanimously approved two development actions on April 21, 2026. The Board memorialized an amended redevelopment plan for 1 Giralda Farms that substitutes a 100 percent affordable housing mix including supportive and family units for a proposed supportive-only building, a change driven by updated state financing regulations. In separate action, the Board approved the Romanelli Preliminary and Final Site Plan at 42 Lincoln Place with variances, after hearing testimony on parking, pedestrian circulation, accessibility, and architectural design revisions addressing Board concerns over unit livability and grade transitions.
