Planning Board approves Angelica Properties mixed-use development

Planning Board · Meeting of June 2, 2026

NJ MADISON — Planning Board approves Angelica Properties mixed-use development at Main Street. The board unanimously memorialized approval of the 213-215 Main Street project after applicant attorney Rosemary Stone Dougherty addressed board concerns through revised site plans that eliminated requested variances. Planning consultant Alexander Dougherty testified the project advances municipal land use goals through affordable housing provision, reduced impervious coverage, and improved stormwater management.

In related action, the board voted 8-0 to recommend Ordinance 27-2026 to Borough Council, which would prohibit large-scale data centers as a principal use in all zoning districts.
