Madison Historic Preservation Commission reorganizes

NJ MADISON — Madison Historic Preservation Commission holds reorganization meeting, elects leadership and sets 2026 priorities. The commission unanimously elected Dr. Jill Rhodes as Chair and Christon Kellogg and Max Hart as Co-Vice Chairs.

The commission outlined 2026 goals including Historic Preservation training for all members, continuation of preservation recognition awards, and streamlining collaboration with the Borough on Sign and Façade applications. A new Community Outreach Program will engage local business owners and property owners through an informational memorandum prepared by member Adrienne Novak and Ms. Cerutti detailing the preservation ordinance and design guidelines.
