Historic Preservation Commission · Meeting of May 12, 2026

NJ MADISON — The Madison Historic Preservation Commission named preservation award nominees and tabled a lighting award. The commission selected the Puddingstone House at 49 Park Avenue for its Residential Preservation Award and Chase Bank at 2 Waverly Place for its Commercial Award at the May 12 meeting, with presentations scheduled for June. Project engineers collaborated with Co-Vice Chair Chris Kellogg on the Chase Bank restoration's material choices and colors.

Chair Dr. Jill Rhodes will request a borough staff update on façade application procedures after members flagged review delays caused by staff transitions.
