Court ruling on Drew University drives Madison housing plan revision

NJ MADISON — Madison Planning Board unanimously approves amended affordable housing plans and three related ordinances. The amendments, required by a February 2025 court ruling mandating inclusion of Drew University campus lands in the Borough's developable land inventory, update the town's housing obligation calculations and compliance strategy, Affordable Housing Planner Graham Petto explained. The Board also memorialized resolutions for two development cases at 1 Giralda Farms and approved a revised redevelopment plan for 3 Giralda Farms.
All items passed unanimously.
