Committee backs $200,000 renovation of Rosedale soccer field

NJ MADISON — Open Space advisory committee votes to support $200,000 soccer field renovation project. The committee voted 4 to 1 to advise the town council to approve the Rosedale soccer field renovation, with $180,000 from the Open Space Trust Fund and $20,000 from the Borough general fund. The work will remove existing turf, decompact soil, reseed with appropriate grass varieties, and establish plans for annual professional maintenance.
The committee hopes the project will serve as a model for future athletic field improvements.
