Board of Health approves vital records deputy registrar appointment

NJ MADISON — Madison Board of Health approves appointment of Elizabeth Osborne as deputy registrar of vital statistics. Board President Dr. Joseph Balwierczak presided over all seven board members' vote to appoint Borough Clerk Elizabeth Osborne to the position.

Health Officer Megan Avallone reported successful food establishment inspections and outlined the health department's expanding work on vaccination guidance following CDC changes and a new state-mandated lead screening program for pregnant women, children, and consumer goods. The board received communication from the Madison Environmental Commission regarding concerns about noise and pollution from gas-powered leaf blowers.
